Joanne, who completed a Fine Arts degree at Auckland University and spent many years working in the computer industry around the world, developed our web site as well as doing other work for .
A keen outdoors person, she even managed to work on our web site while doing volunteer conservation work on Little Barrier Island out in middle of the Hauraki Gulf. While there, she proved the power mobile broadband – running out of different ways to cook all the fish they were catching, she sent out a distress email and within an hour received back several recipes.
Somehow Joanne manages to squeeze volunteering with between her conservation work, tramping, art and crafts (she welds sculptures and does quilting), renovating houses and regular overseas travel.
